Lucy joined the Employment Department as a Solicitor in March 2017, having completed her training contract at Magrath Sheldrick LLP.

Lucy advises employers and employees on both contentious and non-contentious matters. She advises employers on grievance, disciplinary and redundancy processes. She has experience of advising on and drafting documentation for businesses such as Settlement Agreements, Contracts of Employment and Staff Handbooks. On contentious matters Lucy has experience of a wide range of employment law litigation in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal, and the Court of Appeal, including claims involving unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing.
