Career

Maria Elisabetta Varrone supports Studio Legale Lauro for the development of the growth and innovation strategy.Before joining SLL, she developed extensive experience in both territorial and corporate marketing sectors, having held management roles for public and public/private companies, since 2004. Maria Elisabetta Varrone was a manager of the railway and automotive company owned by the Campania Regional Authority, for 11 years. During this period, she managed various functions together with the Marketing Department and, in particular, she was Head of Unit - Integrated Management System and Marketing from 2016 to 2017; Head of Unit - Marketing and Development of New Initiatives, year 2016; Head of Unit - Marketing and Product Control of the railway branch, from February 2013, and also of the automotive branch, from June 2013, until 20.01.2016.Previously, she was founder and then Head of the Transport Studies Center of the regional Holding for the transport sector, from 1 October 2006 to February 2013, where she carried out numerous studies and projects for the development of the sector, in collaboration with Universities and others European regions.In 2004, Maria Elisabetta founded the first Italian public/private logistics Agency, to develop territorial marketing, with the aim of promoting the regional territory as an investment area in the logistic and freight transport sector.  First, she held the position of Director until 2006 and later, in 2012/2013, of General Manager. From 1998 until 2012, she dealt with strategic planning for public transport and logistics customers; involvement and coordination of stakeholders; proposal and development of regional system projects.
