Career

He has spent several decades handling litigation and arbitration cases in the country's ordinary courts, including the Supreme Court, as well as the Danish Arbitration Institute. He has provided legal advice to small and medium-sized businesses/companies and individuals, assisted with the establishment and guidance of foundations, handled legal matters in the purchase and sale of real estate and businesses, and acted as a trustee in bankruptcy estates of all sizes.

In addition, he has provided advice and assistance in the private law sphere, including marriage agreements and divorces, as well as inheritance and wills (including the administration of estates).

Through his international work, he has provided Danish – both private individuals and companies – with quick and effective legal assistance abroad, as well as assisting foreigners with legal issues here in the country.

Memberships

Member of the Association International des Jeunes Avocats (from 1984-1993 as board member). Member of the Intercontinental Grouping of Accountants and Lawyers (a world-wide network of accountants and lawyers) since 1992. Since 1984 attached to Advokatsekre-tærernes Uddannelsescenter (a course offering educational and further training of legal secretaries) as teacher and examiner. Member of the Bar Association of the Supreme Court. International Group of Accountants and Lawyers (verdensomspændende advokat- og revisornetværk). Member of Højesteretsskranken, Dansk Forening for Voldgift, Foreningen for Erstatnings- og Forsikringsret, Øresundsadvokater, Procedureadvokater, Københavns Advokatforening and Danske Advokaters Faggruppe for Erhvervsejendomme og Entreprise, and Det danske selskab for Byggeret.

Education

Born in 1953. Master of Laws (Cand.jur.) from the University of Copenhagen. Admitted to practice before the High Court in 1982 and the Supreme Court in 1987.
