Janet advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property, including patent and trade mark prosecution, infringement and validity. Her work includes the drafting and prosecution of patents and the preparation and filing of trade marks and designs.

Janet has been a director of Meissner Bolte (UK) Ltd since it was incorporated in 2004. She started her career at Marks & Clerk in Manchester, England, where she qualified in 1979 before moving to Computer Patent Annuities in 1981 where she worked for five years.  On returning to the UK, she set up her own practice and formed an association with Meissner Bolte’s Munich office  in 1990.  Her own practice merged with that of Meissner Bolte (UK) Ltd in 2019.
