Career

José Antonio is founding partner of CGM and focuses his practice on tax litigation, foreign investment, indirect taxes and customs law. With a broad portfolio of domestic and international clients from various sectors, he has advised on numerous transactions with complex tax impacts, including mergers and acquisitions and international transactions. He has also coordinated several tax restructurings and acted in the definition of strategic alternatives in relevant administrative and judicial disputes, including oral arguments before higher courts and negotiations with tax authorities to reduce taxes or obtain special tax benefit regimes.
