Lawyer with more than 10 years of professional experience in corporate advice, specialized in digital and administrative law, with national and international practice in the implementation of personal data protection systems, cybersecurity and as a personal data protection officer, DPO in Ecuador.

He has advised important companies in the education, medical and hospital, tourism, technology, internet and e-commerce, communication, marketing and advertising sectors. In all these segments, it has developed due diligence, prevention, risk management and regulatory compliance processes.

Training third parties is a fundamental part of their work; not only as a teacher at the university level but also at the corporate level in the training of personal data protection delegates, and knowledge creation between various areas of business structures that require continuous support in a relatively new area in the country.

In the public sector, between 2010 and 2016, he exercised relevant legal advisory functions at the Executive and Legislative branches. He promoted public policies on computer crimes, and contributed to the technical analysis of multiple regulatory projects in administrative, environmental, constitutional, and criminal matters. As part of her professional commitment, she is a member of the Ecuadorian chapter of the internet society, ISOC Ecuador, and of ISOC Cybersecurity, in addition to being the national coordinator of YOUTH 2030; forums focused on  amplifying the voice of new generations of Ecuadorians and equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to debate Internet policies.
