Lucía has more than 12 years of professional experience in business law. For 10 years he was part of internal legal advice teams for companies linked to the commercialization of fuels and logistics services for pharmaceutical products. In these positions he handled civil and commercial matters mainly.

On the one hand, in a multinational business group, with more than 200 fuel marketing stations nationwide and with more than 1700 direct and indirect jobs in Ecuador, he advised the main marketing lines: fuels, lubricants and convenience store chains. He participated on the one hand, in the management of distribution contracts, constitution of mortgages, pledges and other guarantees, and on the other hand, in general public tenders for the purchase of fuel and lubricants, including the review of bases and corresponding contracts. In addition, he participated in the legal control of administrative files before the main control authority, the Agency for the Regulation and Control of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources.

As for his experience in the logistics sector, he has participated in regulatory and contractual compliance processes, has handled storage and transportation contracts with customers and suppliers. He has participated in the negotiation of transport fire insurance policies, civil liability policies and in the preparation of claims.

In his private practice at DLL, he is a very important player in the area of corporate law. He is co-responsible for the corporate management of business groups made up of more than 48 companies, including the administration of corporate books, capital increases, participation in board of directors, management of minutes, organization of meetings, as well as participates in corporate due diligence processes focused on the regularization of documentation and prevention of legal risks in the face of control tasks of the competent authorities.
