James regularly provides commercial and legal advice to shareholders and directors, to partnerships and to sole traders, including in relation to commercial agreements, franchise agreements, joint ventures, corporate reconstructions, and succession planning.

James is developing a specialism in intellectual property and is able to offer advice on intellectual property law and related business matters, assignments and licenses of intellectual property and trademark applications for registration within the UK.

James heads up a company commercial team that is fast becoming one of the leading teams in this practice area in Devon and Cornwall, with local and regional accountants referring their clients to James and trusting him and his team to meet their clients objectives in the most commercial and cost effective way.
