Ana María is an expert in labor, social security and immigration law. Her practice focuses on providing legal advice to national and foreign companies in strategic decision-making for HR management, defense on labor-related administrative proceedings and judicial representation in labor litigation.

Ana María has ample experience in immigration processes, hiring and compensation of expatriates, employee transfers, implementation of corporate policies, mechanisms and alternatives for service outsourcing , design of compensation schemes, labor audit, M&A due diligence and voluntary retirement plans.

Before joining Serrano Martinez, she worked for  leading firms in labor law matters. She alsoworked in top oil and gas companies and directed her private practice in labor law.

She is a member of Colegio de Abogados del Trabajo and is recorded in the listing of arbitrators for Mandatory Arbitration Courts in labor matters, as appointed by the Labor Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice.
