Sidar Tunca is the Founding and Managing Partner of Tunca Attorney Partnership. He is Head of the Energy and Natural Resources Team.Sidar advised some of the major transactions in the Turkish energy sector including renewable energy projects. His expertise in this area covers all aspects of power plant projects, oil and gas and minerals industries.Sidar represent a broad range of interests in the energy sector such as generator, gas and energy traders and marketers, energy service providers, pipeline companies, industrial and commercial customers, investors, public entities and others in connection with the structuring, financing, regulatory approval and operation of power plants, energy market-related contract law, regulatory matters and litigation.

The Energy and Natural Resources Team working under his responsibility regularly advises clients in industry sectors where knowledge of energy related legislations and practices is essential, such as the mining sector, infrastructure and renewables.

As Attorney at Law Sidar handles general civil litigation, including energy, construction, telecommunications and intellectual property related disputes. He has more than 14 years of experience as a trial lawyer representing clients before Turkish civil and commercial courts.

​Sidar has experience in domestic capital markets transactions, including public tender offers, initial public offerings, takeovers and private placements.

He has acted in numerous sport arbitrations as an arbitrator. Sidar regularly advises ministries and other governmental structures on various matters related to public procurements, government contractor services and other issues related to public law.
