Career
Lawyer graduated with honors from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú [Pontifical Catholic University of Perú] in 2000. He holds a master degree in Public Management granted by Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona [Autonomous University of Barcelona], Universidad Pompeu Fraba [Pompeu Fraba University], and ESADE (2006); likewise, he has specialization in Managerial Accounting and Financial Analysis and Control in the Business Administration of Graduate School of Business Administration-ESAN (2001), and a Diploma in Privatization & Concession conferred by Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas [Peruvian University of Applied Sciences] (2009).
Founding partner of the firm, with an expertise of more than 20 years in Dispute Resolution and Litigation, and Administrative and Regulatory Law, and Real Este. He has actively taken part in the drawing up, development, and achievement of the most important deals on public tender of the country as well as in different commercial and institutional arbitrations against private and public entities. Similarly, Mr. Rodríguez has advised prominent international companies regarding different public and private investment projects as well as in corporate financing and restructuring operations by analyzing both, the legal and financial effects related to syndicated loan contracts regarding other applied commercial or stock-market issues.
Before joining our law firm, Mr. Rodríguez fulfilled the position of Legal Manager of the National Fund for Financing State Entrepreneurial Activity (FONAFE-as per its Spanish acronym) in charge of the regulation and structuring of important investment projects in the country; as well as Legal Counsel in the Peruvian Private Investment Promotion Agency (Proinversion).
He is leading professor of the Administrative Law course at Universidad de Lima, and taught the Administrative Law, and Public Services Regime and Concessions courses at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
