Hugill & Ip adds a new partner
Hong Kong-founded law firm Hugill & Ip recently announced that it has hired Fiona Chan as a partner in its Dispute Resolution and Private Client practice.
Fiona qualified in Hong Kong in 1992. Prior to joining Hugill & Ip, she led litigation teams in sizeable law firms serving diverse clients – including HNWI, statutory bodies and public listed companies – and headed the probate and conveyancing department as a partner of a renowned local law firm.
She is experienced in a wide range of civil litigation including contractual and shareholders’ disputes, contentious probate and family disputes.
Adam Hugill – Managing Partner of Hugill & Ip – said Fiona will strengthen two core areas of the firm’s practice, while Alfred Ip added that not only her experience would reinforce the offerings that Hugill & Ip have to its clients, both in the Civil Litigation and Private Client areas, but in particular it will make the firm’s Probate & Trusts practice one of the most sought-after addresses in Hong Kong.
Ms Chan expressed that she’s excited to work alongside her new colleagues who share her same passion for providing exceptional legal services. She believes that we will be able to collaborate effectively to achieve great results for clients.
In the past six months Hugill & Ip has expanded his team also adding associates in the Family, Private Client and Dispute Resolution teams and see a further increase with strategic hires during the next 12 months.
