Paul has almost 25 years experience practising UK immigration law.  Ranked in Legal 500 as a leading immigration barrister, Paul’s expertise covers all aspects of business immigration law, including immigration routes for investors, entrepreneurs, innovators, sole representatives of overseas businesses, expansion workers, exceptionally talented persons and skilled workers, as well as their family members.

His clients include high-net worth individuals, businesspersons, sportspersons, artists & entertainers and employers from startups through to major international corporations. Paul also maintains an interest in assisting family members of both points-based migrants and settled persons to relocate to, extend their stay and settle in the UK.

Experienced in challenging decisions of the Home Office, Paul regularly prepares administrative review applications and has represented numerous clients before the Immigration Tribunal, High Court and Court of Appeal in both immigration appeal and judicial review matters.

Paul writes widely on the latest legal developments affecting businesspersons and has been consulted by Home Office policy makers in relation to amendments to the Tier 1 (Investor) and Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Immigration Rules.

Paul is one of the founding partners of Richmond Chambers and a key member of its Management Team. He accepts instructions from private individuals and businesses on a direct access basis.
