Career

Jasmine has experience in a wide range of personal and business immigration matters including family migration, EEA applications and appeals, and asylum and human rights claims and appeals.

Jasmine has worked on many applications under Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules, including applications for spouse, fiancé(e), and adult dependent relative visas. She has also prepared many applications for leave to remain in the UK on the basis of clients’ rights to private and family life. In addition, she has prepared applications for visit visas, settlement and naturalisation; as well as assisting EU nationals and their family members with applications for family permits and pre-settled and settled status.

In addition to assisting with applications, Jasmine has particular experience in immigration appeals and has prepared and presented numerous appeals against the refusal of human rights and asylum claims, appearing in both the First-tier and Upper Tribunal. She also has extensive experience of challenging the decisions of the Secretary of State by way of Judicial Review. Jasmine represents clients directly throughout the appeal process, as well as accepting solicitors’ instructions.

Finally, Jasmine has prepared applications for Chambers’ points-based system and business migration clients. She has worked on applications in the Tier 1 (Investor), Tier 1 (Entrepreneur), Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent)/Global Talent and Sole Representative of an Overseas Business categories, and continues to assist clients with a variety of business matters.
