Since 1994 Ada has been practicing and specializing in: foreign-related legal affairs including intellectual property, investment, mergers and acquisitions, franchising, antitrust, anti-unfair competition, and international arbitration. Based on her study experience in the UK and her 25-year-long practice experience in China, Ada well understands both Chinese and western culture.

Ada has also accumulated extensive experience and successful cases in international arbitration and international trade negotiations. Based on years of legal practice and unremitting research, Ada has serviced many Fortune 500 organizations in addition to famous domestic and abroad foreign enterprises as their annual legal counsel.

In addition, as the head of the Asia at the International Law Firms (ILF), Ada allies over 80 law firms located in more than 50 countries and regions to provide her clients efficient and fine international legal services.

Ada was awarded the title of “Guangzhou Top 10 10 Elite Leading Lawyer on Foreign-related Legal Affairs” for her excellent and pragmatic professional ability; this award resulted in Ada being admitted into the International Lawyer Talent Pools selected by the Ministry of Justice, the National Lawyers Association, the Guangdong Lawyers Association and the Guangzhou Lawyers Association. In terms of theoretical research, Ada has published articles on intellectual property and foreign investment; also, she efficiently and professionally completed two national-level legal compilation projects efficiently and professionally, which were widely praised by “going global” companies.

In the field of foreign-related Intellectual Property rights, Ada provides effective services to clients from Europe, America, and Oceania etc. so as to protect their copyrights, trademarks, patents and commercial secrets; strong cooperative relationships between Ada and these clients have developed in excess of 15 years.

In the field of Investment and M&A, Ada successfully handled many large-scale cross-border investment projects in different industries involving: food, hospital, media, cosmetics, real estate and infrastructure. Ada acted for UK investors to franchise in China, represented Chinese investors to purchase an organic food company in Croatia, assisted Hong Kong investors with an IPO in Canada, and helped Chinese investors build thermal power plants in Jordan, etc.

In the field of Competition Law, Ada has conducted numerous anti-unfair competition litigations for her clients and assisted them in implementing risk prevention and business compliance in terms of commercial secrets protection and anti-commercial bribery
