Position
Jean-Yves has a strong background with more than 20 years of experience in international tax and international business reorganisations. He has notably spent more than 10 years with “Magic Circle” law firms.
He experienced amongst: post-acquisition simplification of the Luxembourg holding structure of a multinational industrial group; implementation of the financing and cash pooling center for a Swedish industrial group; rationalisation of the holding structure of the real estate part of a sovereign fund; partial demerger of the management entity of a regulated life insurance company; cross-border merger of a German operating company into a Luxembourg company being active in the same sector; debt to equity swaps for the Luxembourg companies of several international groups.
Jean-Yves is responsible for Luxembourg corporate services, assisting mainly multinational groups through their implementation and restructuring processes. This notably includes in-bound and out-bound migrations, domestic and cross-border mergers, demergers, liquidations, etc. He is also involved in both international and domestic real estate deals.
