Career

Şener Özkan advises domestic and international commercial and industrial enterprises on labour law and consumer law, and coordinates and leads civil, administrative and tax litigation and dispute resolution procedures arising out of these areas.

The legal services provided by Şener Özkan also include the enforcement of court judgments obtained following lawsuits and negotiable instruments.

Şener Özkan is experienced on:

Providing preventative legal advice on labour law; drafting and negotiating employment agreements in compliance with labour law and workplace practices, structuring standardized documents and procedures for day-to-day labour law-related issues, advising employers and employees on termination of employment, employment-related receivables, disciplinary procedures, mass terminations and resettlement, as well as representing clients in legal disputes arising out of these issues;

Providing preventative legal advice on consumer law with a specific focus in the automotive industry, drafting standardized sales agreements and documents to be signed with customers, representing clients in legal disputes arising out of consumer laws;

Drafting and negotiating agreements and residential and commercial construction contracts in relation to the sale, purchase, lease or assignment of real estate, representing clients in legal disputes arising out of these transactions;

Representing clients in legal disputes that arise out of capital companies’ articles of association, shareholders’ agreements, the relationships between the board of directors members or managers with shareholders or the liabilities of board of directors members or mangers arising out of company articles of association and applicable legislation.
