Raquel has an extensive background of working with tax matters.

Raquel began her professional career in 2007 as a trainee lawyer at the Portuguese leading law firm VdA – Vieira de Almeida & Associados where she had the chance to work among corporate and tax teams. She left VdA to join Deloitte’s tax division, specializing in personal income tax.

After working for nearly 10 years in Tier 1 firms, Raquel joined the firm (now Belim Castilho) in 2017. Raquel provides multi-skilled assistance to clients, both corporate and private, covering practical and comprehensive tax advice, being personal taxation her main focus.

English and Spanish.

ANJAP – Portuguese National Association of Young Lawyers (member). Portuguese Bar Association (admitted in 2010).

Law Degree (Catholic University of Portugal Law School, 2007).

Raquel’s family descends from Nazaré and Alentejo. They are food lovers and proud Benfica supporters.
