Filipa Gomes Teixeira joined BELIM as Associate Partner in January 2025

Filipa provides comprehensive advice to private clients, including tax and succession planning, wealth management, investment structuring and support in tax compliance processes.

She has built an impressive career over the past decade, working for leading international firms. She began her career as a tax consultant at KPMG Portugal, where she gained extensive experience in direct taxation, specifically in the areas of Personal Advisory Services and Corporate & International Tax.

Prior to joining BELIM, she worked in other law firms developing expertise in income tax, international taxation, and tax, wealth, and succession planning for individuals. Filipa has held roles at RFF Lawyers, Kore Partners, and most recently as a principal associate in the Private Client & Wealth Management team at Cuatrecasas.

Portuguese Bar Association (admitted in 2018). Member of the Portuguese Tax Association (AFP) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA).

Law Degree (University of Lisbon School of Law, 2013). Master’s Degree in Tax Law (Catholic University of Portugal Law School, 2016). Postgraduate Studies in Foreigners’ and Nationality Law (Nova Law School, 2024).

Filipa is passionate about literature and cinema, with a special predilection for science fiction. When it comes to music, she moves between two fascinating extremes: the depth of classical opera and the vibrant energy of techno, surrendering to (almost) no other genre. A foodie, Filipa loves exploring old and new delicacies (as long as they’re vegetarian!), but it's in the simplicity of baked potatoes that she finds her favourite meal.
