Career
Rafal Celej is the founder and one of the two managing partners of the boutique law firm Kondracki Celej and a leader of the corporate and transactional practice.
He has been on the professional market for over 14 years now, with more than 11 years of transactional experience.
He advises leading domestic and international venture capital and private equity funds, and emerging growth technology companies on a wide range of corporate matters, including, on venture capital investments and exits, as well as on the mergers and acquisitions.
He specializes in issues related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, corporate finance, and equity financing. In addition, he advises clients on a wide array of matters, including business strategy, corporate governance, leveraged and leveraged acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals and other forms of entity restructuring, all types of share and asset transactions, as well as provides ongoing assistance in matters related to company law and commercial law.
In 2018 he was recognized with a prestigious “Rising Star” special award by daily Gazeta Prawna.
He is a regular guest and panellist/moderator or venture capital and technology conferences, such as the LSE Polish Economic Forum (London), Poland 2.0 (London), Wolves Summit (Warsaw), European Startup Day (Katowice) and Venture Day (Gdańsk).
Rafal graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw (2008), and also from the London School of Economics (LLM, 2009) and the School of British Law at the University of Cambrigde (2009).
He works in English and Polish.
