Position

David is a Partner in the Commercial Litigation team at Tyr. David advises on a wide range of high-value complex commercial disputes and risk management issues, with specialist experience in disputes involving IT, pensions and trusts, financial services, and corporate issues.  He frequently advises on international disputes, including in respect of supply chain issues and contract terminations.  David has acted for clients in several high profile reported cases in both the High Court and Appellate Courts, as well as having an excellent track record of successfully resolving disputes via mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.  He acts for a wide range of clients from public companies to private individuals across a range of sectors, including:  Retail and Consumer, Digital, Energy and Utilities, Transport, and Financial Services.

Career

David joined as a Partner in the Commercial Litigation team at Tyr in January 2021.  David spent the preceding 15 years practising commercial litigation at a combination of DLA Piper, Addleshaw Goddard and Walker Morris.

David is a member of the Society for Computers and Law and the Association of Pension Lawyers.
