Career

Lawyer from the University of Chile, team leader of the Free Competition and Regulated Markets. In the energy sector, he acted as Legal Advisor of the National Commission of Energy, Superintendent of Electricity and Fuels and is currently a member of the Directory of the electric distributor Casablanca Electric Company S.A. He has successfully represented distributing and generating companies including processes and rate regulation processes, achieving—in representation of the whole industry—without consequence a complete rate processing, for the illegalities committed in its development.

In the free competition sector, he acted as National Economic Deputy Processor, and in private professional practice has successfully represented the interests of diverse companies, including cases of requirements of the authority for presumed collusion.

He also works in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, including national and international arbitrations.

Law from the University of Chile. In the academic field, he has served as Professor of Economic Law at the Faculty of Law of the Alberto Hurtado University and as a graduate professor in various chairs of regulatory law in other universities.
