Education
After obtaining his classical high school diploma, with honors, at the "L. Ximenes" High School in Trapani, in July 1991 he graduated summa cum laude in law at the Catholic University of Milan, discussing his thesis with the professor Tiziano Treu. Then, he received his PhD in labor law and industrial relations. In January 1993, as a visiting student, he took part in the "Master of Arts in Industrial Relations" course at the University of Warwick (United Kingdom) for a period of three months. In April 1997, he completed a study period at the Labor Research Center of the University of Rhode Island (USA).
