Petar Panayotov is an attorney at law advising local and international clients in the insurance, real estate, and construction sectors on contentious and non-contentious matters. He acts on behalf of clients in relation to litigation and dispute management, regulatory and compliance and a range of corporate services including contract management. 

Fluent in Bulgarian and English, Petar represents leading insurance companies, insurance brokers, and individuals in litigation cases against policy holders, and between insurance companies, with a focus on recovering monies owed relating to insurance agreements. He also assists individuals in personal injury cases and counsels clients on conflict management options, including the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). 

Petar is regularly engaged in high-value real estate and construction disputes, where he successfully acts for clients in out of court negotiations and provides representation in courts and tribunals across Bulgaria. He represents land developers, construction companies and real estate organisations, managing relationships and guiding clients through transactions, advising on tax, insurance, land registry requirements, and in negotiating and drafting contracts. 

Working with businesses in a range of industries, Petar has considerable experience in administrative litigation regularly helping clients in appeals and challenges to Bulgarian government and local authority decisions, and administrative sanctions throughout the court system. 

In addition to his disputes work, Petar advises on a range of contracts and on compliance with domestic laws and EU regulations, including GDPR, state security agency regulations, and general risk management.
