Senior Partner

K. K. Agarwal has more than thirty five years’ experience of working in the Government of India in various capacities, including as Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Director General of Valuation (Customs), Chief Commissioner Mumbai Airport Customs, Commissioner of Customs and Commissioner (Appeals). He was actively involved in the conceptualisation and setting up of the first Service Tax Commissionerate in India at Mumbai and served as its Commissioner for the first two years. He served as Member(Technical) in the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Tribunal for three years where he authored several path breaking judgements in Customs, Excise, Service Tax and Anti-Dumping Duty and also earned the appreciation of the Bar and litigants at large.

In TLC , he handles advisory and advocacy work relating to Customs and GST as well as legacy issues of Central Excise and Service Tax.

He takes a keen interest in sports and is an avid follower of international competitions including athletics, cricket and lawn tennis. He is also fond of gardening.
