Krishan Kumar has had an illustrious career spanning twenty three years in Customs and Central Excise departments, including in Commissionerates, Preventive and Anti-smuggling wings etc. In 1982, he was selected for the very first batch of Departmental Representatives in the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT). He was awarded the President’s Certificate for distinguished record of service in 1994. After taking voluntary retirement from the Government, he worked for ten years with a leading corporate group. He is widely acclaimed as an expert on Customs laws and practices and for his immense knowledge of investigation procedures. He has an innate ability to dissect and find viable legal solutions to complex litigations in Customs matters.

In TLC, he handles advisory and litigation work relating to Customs laws. His unique problem solving skills, eye for detail, calm demeanour and instinctive mentoring of young associates make him an invaluable asset for TLC.
