Senior Associate Partner

G. Krishnamoorthy initially worked in the Customs & Central Excise Department for six years before moving on to handle Indirect Tax functions in the private sector. He has worked for more than thirty years in the corporate world, including in companies like TVS, JK, TATA, Reliance, and Essar where he was heading Indirect Taxation functions, including investigations by agencies like DRI, DGCEI and ED. He has also been closely associated with many industrial associations including CII, in preparing representations and pre-budget memorandums. He has vast experience in handling litigation at various levels including in CESTAT and High Courts.

He heads the Chennai office of TLC and looks after litigations in CESTAT and High Court, besides handling due diligence and compliance audits concerning GST and other indirect tax laws.

In his spare time, he offers his voluntary services especially for initiatives involving free food distribution. He also likes listening to Carnatic music, old Tamil and Hindi songs and spiritual discourses.
