Career

Dr. Ahmed Abdelgawad is a Co-founder of ADSERO-Ragy Soliman & Partners and he is co-leading our M&A and Capital Markets team. He is also a Teacher at the Criminal Law Department of the Faculty of Law, Cairo University. Dr. Ahmed has obtained his PhD degree on “The General Theory for Capital Market Crimes” from Cairo University in 2015.

Ahmed has over 14 years of experience in the legal field during which he focused mainly on M&A and Capital Markets. In addition, Ahmed has participated in a number of arbitrations in Egypt as well as several major litigations; in addition to representing his clients in a number of project finances and syndications.

Ahmed has represented a number of private equities in high profile transactions; including, Gulf Capital, Abraaj and Euromena, as well as representing a number of national and multinational companies through a wide range of industries; including, Abou Zaabal Fertilizers, Alcazar Energy, Atos, Cairo 3A, Danone, Delivery Hero, Domty, LITAT Group, Symantec, Stream, Suez Steel, TCI Sanmar Chemicals and Techno Scan.
