Davida Blackmore
Davida is an experienced litigator and information law specialist having been involved, over the years, in the majority of the significant recent Jersey cases involving data protection issues. She advises the Information Commissioner for Jersey (and has previously advised the Data Protection Commissioner for Guernsey) together with legal and financial services institutions, organisations in the technology sector and deals with various aspects of information law including:
\tAdvising on developments in Jersey law necessitated by the implementation of the GDPR and Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018;
\tThe implementation of legislative changes in respect of both data protection and freedom of information legislation;
\tAppeals under the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law.
