Selin is a very well known name in the shipping and insurance markets with a record of many successfully handled claims of her clients. She advises and represents local and international insurers, shipowners, shipyards, banks, and traders in complex and high-profile disputes.

In addition to her disputes practice, she provides consultancy and advisory services across shipping, insurance, and reinsurance matters, offering  carefully tailored advice.

After 20 years at two leading international Turkish law firms, she founded Heuvels Uras Law Firm in 2019.

Selin is a graduate of Baskent University, School of Law (2002) and is registered with the Istanbul Bar Association (2003). She speaks fluent English and conversational French.
