João built his career at Cuatrecasas, as a member of the Public Law and Real Estate Departments. João also acted as a Member and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Economy of the XIX Portuguese Government and interned in the European Commission and in the European Parliament, in Brussels.

At CCSL Advogados João is responsible for assisting clients on real estate, public law and regulatory matters. João specializes in real estate and public law advising the firm’s clients on multiple related transactions. Considering his experience, João also advises clients with regulatory issues namely in particular sectors such as energy, environment and transportation.
