Career
João was member of the corporate and real estate departments at Uría Menéndez – Proença de Carvalho in Lisbon. While at Uría, he advised international clients and major private equity funds in complex and demanding M&A transactions.
He was also Assistant of the Secretary of State for Justice of the XVII Portuguese Government and MBA Intern at InterRisco, a private equity based in Oporto.
At CCSL Advogados João is a non-executive Partner being also the Managing Partner at Planalto Capital.
João is experienced in corporate and private equity matters with a dual legal and management background. Given his mixed background, João is able to provide a multi-disciplinary analysis to the issues at stake.
