Piotr Kalina is an attorney-at-law, a partner in the privacy & data protection department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a co-head of the E-commerce & Digital Marketing practice.

Piotr has thirteen years of experience in providing legal services to private and public entities. He specialises in personal data protection, e-commerce, consumer law and marketing issues. He advises on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and new technology law.

Piotr has worked with international and domestic groups, including those that operate retail and manufacturing entities, franchise networks, and online shops. He has advised on building business models for major platforms, loyalty programmes and ground-breaking solutions for autonomous shop networks based on AI solutions, as well as cutting-edge methods of distributing and selling goods and services.

Piotr is the author of numerous publications in the field of data protection legislation as well as a lecturer in postgraduate studies and a speaker at recognised industry conferences. He completed his postgraduate studies in the areas of personal data protection at the Polish Academy of Sciences and modern technologies law at Kozminski University in Warsaw.
