Lucas Aguiar has been working at the firm since its foundation and, since the second semester of 2021, is the head of the recently opened office in Brasília. Before joining Davi Tangerino Advogados, Lucas worked at Trench Rossi Watanabe’s criminal and white-collar practices, defending and advising clients from different industries. Lucas has extensive experience within the public sector, working as a law clerk to the Brazilian Supreme Court President, as chief of staff at the Ministry of Justice, and also as a visiting professional at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

He has degrees in Law and International Relations, as well as an LL.M in Public International Law, with a specialization in Criminal International Law from Leiden University (The Netherlands).
