Terence Beringhs is a partner at GVBV Advogados and his practice is focused on business law, specifically in corporate and contract areas, including M&A, restructurings, joint ventures, and foreign investments. He has also advised several companies in the areas of corporate governance and corporate litigation. Terence has experience in capital markets and wealth planning.

Terence holds a master’s degree in law from the University of California – Berkeley School of Law (Berkeley, USA – LL.M. 2014); specialist in tax law at the Universidade de São Paulo Law School – USP (2010); Law degree at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2008); and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the School of Economics and Administration of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo – FEA – PUC/SP (2002).

Before founding GVBG Advogados, Terence was a partner at a renowned law firm and worked in the United States in the area of ​​corporate law and capital markets at Chadbourne & Parke LLP (New York, USA), currently Norton Rose Fulbright, from 2014 to 2016. In Brazil, also worked at Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados for more than 7 years.
