Associate Solicitor

Jelena is an Associate Solicitor, specialising in divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, cohabitation, separation and issues surrounding domestic abuse. She also helps with other matters, such as advising about post- and pre-nuptial agreements, as well as cohabitation agreements.

Jelena is an experienced Family Solicitor and member of Resolution, who strives to work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way wherever possible.

Career History

Jelena studied at the University of Southampton, where she obtained her degree in Law, before attaining a Distinction at the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford, Surrey.

Jelena trained and qualified with a boutique specialist family law practice in Guildford, Surrey, where she worked for four years, before joining a large leading national law firm in December 2017. Jelena joined Edward Cooke Family Law in February 2024, working from our picturesque Chilgrove office.

Jelena is a member of Resolution.

Outside of work, Jelena spends much of her time with her family and pets, including rescue cats, Gary and Boris, and a recent addition in a form of a Labrador, called Rodney.
