Bernado del Rosal finished his Law degree at the University Complutense of Madrid, and his degree in Criminology at the same University, and he also obtained his PhD in Law at the University Complutense of Madrid. Fulbright Schollar at UC Berkeley, scholarship granted by the Brisitish Academy at the University of Cambridge, scholarship granted by Fundación del Amo at the University of Stanford, and several others scholarships granted by the DAAD (Germany) at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), the Institute of Criminology of Madrid at the University of Freiburg, etc.
