Position

Vincent is a Partner at KPMG Avocats. He co-heads the Legal Financial Services department.

Vincent has more than 20 years of experience in banking and financial law, particularly in the asset management sector where he has acquired a very strong reputation.

He regularly advises on legal and regulatory matters relating to financing through:

Credit operations (financing contracts, security interests, personal guarantees, ...) and intra-group financing; The issuance of equity or debt securities (in the context of a public offering or private placement, crowdfunding, etc.), asset management (creation and legal monitoring of UCITS and FIA funds), financial intermediation and the structuring of financial products.

He advises clients in their relationships with the French regulatory authorities (AMF and ACPR), in obtaining or amending their authorizations (management companies, investment firms, credit institutions, etc.).

Vincent has an expertise in European law in the field of financial and banking law, which he puts to the benefit of his clients by advising them on how to implement it in France and by carrying out comparative law analyses.  He advises his clients on cross-border transactions.

Finally, Vincent regularly conducts internal audit/due-diligence and M&A assignments, both regarding regulatory, corporate and contractual aspects, in order to identify and quantify legal risks and to propose regularization actions, which he ensures are properly implemented.

Vincent's main clients are credit institutions, asset management companies and investment firms of all sizes, from the entrepreneurial level to the international level, as well as industrial companies and funds in the energy sector in France and Africa.

Education

Vincent is an Attorney at Law, member of the Hauts-de-Seine Bar

He holds a DJCE (Diplôme de Juriste Conseil d’Entreprise) and a Post graduate degree in Private Law  from the University of Poitiers.
