Background
Salvador has more than 30 years experience of corporate law and over 10 years as Head of Company Secretarial KPMG Ireland. In November 2018 he was elected as President of the ICSA: The Chartered Governance Institute in Ireland.
Salvador is a Chartered Secretary and manages a team of more than 22 company secretarial professionals providing company secretarial advice and services to a significant portfolio of clients.
KPMG Legal Company Secretarial is a service offering provided as part of KPMG’s Legal Services division and is the premier provider of company secretarial services in Ireland. It offers an extensive range of services, ranging from the formation of new companies, share transfers, allotments and capitalisations, group reorganisations, corporate governance and restructuring as well as advising on the dissolution of surplus entities.

Professional Experience
Corporate Law and Company Secretarial Practice: extensive experience advising on all aspects of corporate law and company secretarial practice for a wide range of corporate clients in a number of sectors including financial services, communications, food production and agribusiness, healthcare, energy, construction and commercial property sectors. Share Capital: particular experience in advising clients on share capital structure, share registration, implementation of share re-organisations and dissolution of solvent companies. Beneficial Ownership: advice on and assistance with disclosure of beneficial ownership and the obligations of corporates and individuals. Company Law Review Group: member of the statutory advisory expert body charged with advising the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation on the review and development of company law in Ireland. Board Support and Reporting Secretary: acting as Reporting Secretary to Board and committee meetings to ensure they are held in accordance with good corporate governance principles. Sector Updates: Regular written updates on changes to company law and company secretarial law and practice. Educational: Lecturer on company law and company secretarial law and practice. Global reach: Provision of integrated company secretarial services to worldwide entities. Upskilling: Training on director and company secretarial duties. Stamp duty: Extensive experience of advice on and applications for stamp duty relief.
