Background

Andrea re-joined KPMG in 2016, having previously trained and worked in KPMG Legal Company Secretarial. Andrea advises on all aspects of Irish company law and company secretarial practice. A team leader in managing company law compliance obligations for a large portfolio of corporate client and has advised both international and domestic clients on annual company law compliance obligations and corporate governance matters.

Professional Experience More specifically, Andrea has provided legal advice in the following areas:

Annual company law compliance Group re-organisations and restructuring Corporate Governance New company incorporations and branch registrations Share registration Dissolution of solvent companies Andrea leads a specialist team within KPMG advising clients on their requirements under the EU (Anti-Money Laundering : Beneficial Ownership of Corporate Entities) Regulations 2019; and Is Irish liaison with the KPMG global entity management team to deliver Irish company law and compliance services to Irish entities engaged under the KPMG global services offering.

Sector Experience 

Andrea has a broad range of sector experience including retail, pharmaceutical, food production and agribusiness, healthcare, energy, construction and aviation leasing sectors.

Andrea acts as reporting secretary for a large Dublin based pharmaceutical company, attending their quarterly board meetings and has over 15 years experience in providing board support.
