Having an experience of more than 19 years in the field of labour law, Irina Stanica handles the entire range of legal issues related to labour law. She has advised local and international clients and managed complex legal projects in her area of expertise, such as advisory on employee benefits, social dialogue matters, dismissal procedures, collective redundancy procedures, compliance investigations, reward plan, cross – border secondment arrangements, TUPE and international and multidisciplinary due diligence reports. Irina has advised numerous clients from various business sectors, including automotive, financial services, energy & natural resources, telecom, health & pharmaceuticals, construction, retail etc.

In addition to the recurrent projects, this year Irina has been involved in a lot of complex and multidisciplinary labour projects generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, she has conducted several webinars and presentations with respect to the measures adopted by the Romanian authorities in connection with the COVID-19 crisis and also prepared several publications together with colleagues from other foreign KPMG offices on different labour topics of interest such as teleworking.

 Irina is a regular speaker and trainer and author on Employment matters and was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for her valuable contribution to AmCham’s advocacy activity in 2012. She was also for many years Head of Employment & Pensions Practice in the Romanian office of a top German law firm.
