Career

Attorney at law Isabel Skobierski studied law at the Georg-August University of Göttingen. She specialised in private international law and family law. She also completed a Master of Laws in International Law (LL.M., UCT) at the University of Cape Town.

Isabel Skobierski initially worked as a research assistant in a commercial law firm. During her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe, she worked on private and commercial law proceedings at the Regional Court and in a law firm specialising in commercial and corporate law. As a trainee lawyer at the International Organisation for Migration in Geneva and as a legal representative at the Swiss Aid Agency of the Protestant Church in Basel, she has dealt extensively with international and Swiss migration law.

She is admitted to the bar in Freiburg im Breisgau and is registered in the list of attorneys pursuant to Art. 28 BGFA of the Canton of Zurich. She is therefore admitted to practice before all German and Swiss courts. Isabel Skobierski works as a lawyer at Teichmann International (Schweiz) AG, specialising in family, migration and commercial law.
