Position

Scott heads up the firm’s specialist private wealth disputes team. He has particular expertise in cases involving allegations of lack of testamentary capacity, undue influence, want of knowledge and approval, and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

He also advises charity clients on a wide range of matters and he has advised charities as personal representatives and beneficiaries of contested estates. He works closely with clients to resolve complex disputes in a cost effective and efficient manner. This often includes using alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, such as mediation. He is experienced in dealing with cases in both the High Court and Court of Protection.

He lives in Surrey with his partner and enjoys spending time with his daughters as well as most sports, especially football and golf.
