Mihai coordinates or is involved in high stakes trial and investigation cases, such as for tax fraud in the IT sector, or customs and smuggling cases.

As an attorney with an independent law firm specialized in white-collar crime, Mihai focused on pre-trial investigations, and proved a valuable part of the team of lawyers handling high profile business crime and corruption cases, among which the notorious “Microsoft licenses” government corruption case.

As an associate, Mihai handled and/or litigates complex criminal cases in court, acting as first or second chair in matters such as tax evasion (disputed amount EUR +5.000,000); bribery by football team owner (disputed amount EUR 1.7 million); and, recently, as co-counsel in a high stakes customs and smuggling case.
