Career
Charbel holds a Bachelor of Law and a Masters I from the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. He further advanced his legal education by completing an LLM in International Business Law, specializing in Banking & Finance Law, at Queen Mary University of London.
Before joining Obeid & Medawar, Charbel gained valuable experience at two leading international law firms, Jones Day and White & Case LLP. At both firms, he worked within their International Arbitration and Financial Markets departments, gaining practical experience in a variety of sectors. His practice areas included construction law, telecommunications, and mining rights.
In addition to his legal work, Charbel has demonstrated leadership and engagement within academic circles. He served as the student representative at both Queen Mary University of London and the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing student-faculty relations.
Memberships
During his studies at Queen Mary, he was an active member of the university's Debate Team, participating in a series of debates against military officers during the Queen Mary-Military School debate program.
