Career

Daniel is an advocate, admitted to practice in Cyprus and Greece, handling both common and civil law related matters.

He is experienced in the provision of legal advice relating to M&A and Corporate Law, Banking & Finance Law, Financial Services, Capital Markets and Collective Investment Schemes. He is regularly engaged by EU and third-country corporate and institutional clients such as banks, funds and investment firms as well as their legal advisers (predominantly major international law firms), on issues of project development and finance and commercial contract negotiations both from a transactional and regulatory perspective.

Daniel is a specialist on advising on an ongoing basis one of the major real estate asset managers in Cyprus and Greece.  He advised the key senior officials of a Luxembourg fund on commercial contract negotiations and transaction structuring of their investment in real estate and NPL investments in Cyprus and Greece. He advised a multi-trillion dollar asset manager on the transaction structuring of bridge financing (which comprised of both debt and equity financing) of distressed REO backed borrowers on a DFAS basis. He also advised on the incorporation and authorization of various regulated entities (investment firms and funds) providing investment services as well as undertaking investments in a variety of sectors of the economy.

Daniel founded the firm in 2020, after having worked for several years with the law firms of two Big4 firms and one of the largest law firms in Cyprus. Immediately prior to founding the firm Daniel successfully built the Financial Services, Funds and Capital Markets department of the law firm of a Big4 accounting firm in Cyprus.
