Lesley-Ann has been instrumental in the emissions scandal actions brought by KP Law against Volkswagen and Vauxhall. She has helped the Firm build on group litigation to uphold workers’ rights in the gig economy, as well as seek damages from cryptoasset-linked investment fraud.

Kingsley Hayes

Kingsley is Head of Data and Privacy Litigation at KP Law. He is an expert in data protection and data privacy, being one of the first solicitors in the UK to recognise the growing need for robust data protection with the rise of cyberattacks online. Kingsley has worked on a group action claim against Ticketmaster, fighting for compensation for those affected by a vast data breach at the company. He presently represents more than 16,000 claimants in a group action case against EasyJet concerning a 2020 data breach and undertook a group action claim representing British Airways customers affected by a similar breach in 2018. He is currently leading a class of over 17,000 in litigation against the Police Federation for inadequate data protection practices.

Mark Kenkre

Mark heads the Investment Fraud and Mis-Selling team at KP Law, specialising in complex and sensitive commercial disputes and fraud cases. Mark is an expert at managing international litigation and litigation financing. Mark is leading a number of the group claims for the firm including claims against the London Metal Exchange together with the actions against the crypto exchanges Binance and Nexo to obtain losses for investors using all of these platforms. He has also supported a significant number of British Armed Forces veterans who were mis-sold private pensions together with groups of professional sportspeople who have been victim to investment fraud or mis-selling, making claims over their financial losses and the emotional distress they experienced.

Andrew Nugent Smith

Andrew is Managing Director of KP Law, taking primary responsibility for the growth and direction of the firm. As a seasoned commercial litigator, he has a deep understanding of collective redress and litigation finance. Andrew established KP Law in 2019 and developed its practice to include claims in emissions, worker rights, data breach and privacy, financial products, investment fraud and mis-selling and competition. Andrew resolved claims for over 10,000 Uber drivers seeking redress for historic failures by the company to grant workers’ rights and is also representing Tesco store workers in a group action claim for unpaid wages. He also leads the firm’s case against VW, Vauxhall and Mercedes.
Hannah Wright Jones

Hannah Wright Jones

Hannah is a Legal Director, whose work concerns group actions spanning KP Law’s emissions cases and investment fraud and mis-selling claims. She is also involved in instances concerning exchange failings, particularly where investors have lost money as the result of outages and disruption as in the case of Binance and the London Metal Exchange. Hannah’s practice also concerns shareholder disputes, helping investors to seek redress under Section 90 of the Financial Services and Markets Act based on losses as a result of misleading statements or omissions made in public disclosures.
