Mr. Azmat provides wide ranging legal advisory, corporate, transactional and litigation services to a broad spectrum of companies and high profile and networth clients. His has represented, amongst others, the Gwadar Port Authority, National School of Public Policy, senior bureaucrats and a former Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Mr. Azmat has personally conducted countless cases before the courts in Pakistan which includes a wide variety of trial and appellate work in civil, criminal, commercial and banking matters. Mr. Azmat also has numerous leading judgments to his credit. He brings his experience of handling sophisticated disptues in litigation and arbitration in drafting and negotiating commercial documents. Mr. Azmat led the team drafting and negotaition of a concession agreement worth US$770 million on behalf of the Gwadar Port Authority.

Mr. Azmat did his LL.B. (Hons) from University of London and then went to become a barrister from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. He completed a course in International Law from the prestigious Hague Academy of International Law in Netherlands.
