Dean practises in commercial litigation, with particular focus upon corporations and securities, trade practices and professional negligence.

He also has significant experience in equity and trusts, managed investment schemes, engineering matters and resource disputes.

Dean appears predominantly in superior courts at both trial and appellate levels. He also has international and domestic arbitration experience.

Before coming to the Victorian Bar, Dean practised in London for five years. He maintains a Practising Certificate with the English Bar and is able to advise and appear in respect of English law matters.
