Profile:

As an Associate of Akhtar Imam and Associates, Mr Darras Abdullah regularly handles Company law cases inclduing shareholder-management disputes, alteration of objects clause, reduction fo share capital, etc, judicial review matters, corporate advisory work, drafting and vetting of commercial contracts and Labour and Employment matters. He has assisted in several alternative dispute settlements including arbitrations involving civil works and energy sector. 

He is an annual contributor to the Doing Business Report published by World Bank and the Rule of Law report published by the World Justice Project. Prior to joining the firm, he acquired experience at Tanjib Alam and Associates, a leading corporate set. After being called to the Bar of England and Wales, Darras worked at Miya Solicitors in London on cases involving family law and negligence. During his undergraduate degree, Darras availed his summer breaks to gain legal experience by interning at National Legal Aid Services Organisation, Shawn Novel & Associates and under Mr Barrister Rokanuddin Mahmud, a veteran of the legal profession.
